Most multimedia products play videos in tiny windows (not full-screen) with jerky movement (not full-motion) mainly because video files are so huge. No CD-ROM can transfer files to your computer fast enough to show video in full motion over your full screen. Instead, your computer shrinks the size of the video window and displays fewer frames per second. Displaying fewer frames causes the movement of images to appear jerky.
