A user-friendly way to connect related information (text, graphics, photographs, sound, and video). Hypermedia uses special "links" you can click on to jump from one related topic to another. For example, if you are viewing the home page of the White House, you can click on "The First Family" to jump to a photo of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
