Defines the location of an electronic mailbox on the Internet. An Internet address appears as: yourname@yourlocation. The words following the @ are the machine name and zone. They replace the postal address on an envelope. For example, jmaran’s mailbox is on the xyzcorp machine that belongs to a commercial zone. See also ZONE.
