The quality of the images on a printed page. Resolution is measured in dots per inch (dpi). A higher resolution results in sharper, more detailed images. Generally, a resolution of 300 dpi is acceptable for most office documents, although 600 dpi printers are becoming more popular. If you require over 1200 dpi, you can take your work to a service bureau.
